here’s the answer to my previous entry { (( LINO )) photoblogger spotted him! }

anyway, this tiny froggy almost got trampled on by my husband’s thick shoe AND almost inhaled by Charlie (my pug) too!

3 years ago, my bff Christa gave me half of her Canna plant, rather I forced her to give me because I really like the wide leaves w/ pale violet color in the middle turning pale maroon-ish towards the periphery. Flowers bloom in the month of August but that’s another story (or entry) of course.

Anyway, this year it seems like we’re losing the battle against those always-hungry-garden-snails that new leaves of my favorite plant aren’t safe anymore. We can always scatter powder for pest (snails) control BUT a number of cats, not ours but neighbors’, are constantly playing in our garden and we do not want them to come in contact with this powder.

Snails are winning.
