I made The LIST…..or have I really?

Yours truly was tagged by the flamboyant Reynz who has been a constant cover of numerous popular magazines such as Seventeen, Time, National Geographic..just to name a few. Reynz wanted to spread around his fortune thus inviting friends to share his walks on the red carpet with..I was among the lucky ones who was chosen…and of course I grabbed the chance, immediately ran to the studio for my close-ups!

this shot was just perfect when I was chosen by Fortune magazine. They said that I came up no.1 among all probloggers because Millions of Lira has been constantly deposited to my Paypal….yes, I must admit that Problogging has made me a milyonarya (maniwala walang butas ang Ilong! *lol* )

* NOTE: I CAN’T BELIEVE I SHOWED MY FACE AFTER HIDING FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS ….Reynz, you owe me big time! *wink*

I was inside our car when I took these photos. The light was still red and while waiting, those bunch of flowers caught my eyes so I asked my husband if somebody died on that spot. That’s usually the case when you see flowers laid like this.

Surely, last Friday night a delivery mini bus crashed against that thick pole. The driver was killed.

May his soul rest in peace. Please take a minute of your time to pray for his soul.

Hotdogs, anyone?!

One afternoon during our Thailand vacation last year, I left my husband in the hotel (basking under the scorching sun 35C approx, yay!) , packed up may camera and lenses and went to the nearby market. We we’re in Hua Hin, our favorite province in the Southern part, just about 198 kilometers from Bangkok.

I’m quite familiar with the area since I worked and lived there for several years in the 90′s, but unlike my Dutch husband, it wasn’t just the warmth of the sun that I was after during that October vacation but I really wanted to visit all the places that were close to my heart. And well, in most of those places food is involved.

I am going to do a series of entry of my visits….so here’s to start it with. It was around 1pm when I went to the market and it was still early for most Thai people to get their snacks. This lady selling grilled hotdogs and seafood balls was quite early. Early bird do catches the worm, right?

When I was still living there, I must admit those squid balls were one of my favorite snacks…spicy and yummy! Inexpensive as well.

Look at how clean the area was! Well, Thai people are known for their cleanliness too.

I saw this very catchy pub display when we (husband and I) went out with friends one day. In the beginning I was not able to understand what ‘she’ (or should I say ‘they’) was indicating. I had to re-read the words three times. Can you imagine that, 3x?

Unfortunately I only had my macro lens attached to my DSLR and there was no room to move, that’s why the top and bottom were cut.

Anyhow, I think ‘she’ is funny *tee hee*

Horses and ponies| WS # 17

The following photos were rather taken not this weekend but 2 weeks ago, when my little family and friends took a weekend break and rented 2 rooms in a hotel nearby the North sea.
These beautiful horses and ponies were all tamed and for the hotel guests to admire. That day they also had a Horse Parade on the beach but the hotel horses were not part of it.
