3 days / 3 photos (015-017)
Jan 17th
I was not able to upload photos nos. 15, 16 and 17 for my “project 365″ because we were away this weekend. My small family had a short out-of-town vacation to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We got back just a few hours ago and I thought I’d immediately share those 3 photos…
photo #15: a blind pony, with gray, almost white eyelashes
photo # 16: Lone tree up the hill (Lomo effect)
photo #17: “Getting to know you“ by Charlie and Pony
he makes my heart skip (014)

I now fully understand why parents are proud of their children, no matter how cute or ugly they (kids) are. Not that I have a kid of my own… but that doesn’t stop me from feeling like a real mommy. I don’t need to give birth to feel that.
This is my kid. Four legged and utter ugly. So ugly he’s beautiful! I protect him with all my might when we walk outside. One time I scared the crap out of a large sized dog when it tried to bite Charlie. Actually I was just trying to scare the dog because I know that it’s the owner that creates a bad mannered dog. But the owner, known in our neighborhood as the ‘crazy dog walker’ abandoned her dog after seeing how pissed I was!
Don’t mess with Charlie’s mum!

Guhit ng palad (LP 88 Manipis)
Jan 13th
Can you read someone’s future by looking at his palm? Do you believe in this?
If you were to ask me, my answer to both would be NO. Because I believe that only God knows our future. No fortune-teller nor magician can tell. Pure luck, you say? Maybe. Could be. Nothing is impossible. But I…
have lifted up all to Him. he is my Creator.
the dynamic trio! (013)
Jan 13th
left to right:
GRUMPY, MICKEY, AND BETSY
These are Charlie’s (my pug) favorite toys. And yes they each have a name. If Charlie is playing, let’s say with Betsy and you ask him ‘where is Mickey?‘ , I tell you he’ll surely drop Betsy to look for Mickey! Charlie is very protective of the trio. We are not ‘allowed’ to touch any of them. Even I had to secretly gather all just to take this photo. We respect his stuff just as he respect ours.
anybody home? (012)
Jan 12th
I took this photo right from where I was seated. All alone in this computer room…and I love love it! No one to distract my concentration.
I sit here few hours a day, 3 times a week. No I do not browse the internet here nor log in Facebook nor check my blogs but I’m actually trying to learn about Netherlands here, for my state exams.

It’s hard out there (011)
Jan 11th
These ducks rely solely on people who care enough to bring them stale bread. It’s been snowing for more than 3 weeks now and the birds are having a hard time. Hungry hungry hungry!
Which reminds me, tomorrow I should buy loaves of bread for them. I ran out of stale bread. They’re just too many of them to feed! I hope this winter let up, soon.

Mean Ice man! (010)
Jan 10th
There’s just too much snow outside so finding snowmen was easy. This one was standing a few meters away from our house.
I find it quite ‘mean’ looking and just the ugliest snowman I’ve seen, ever!
Funny thing was, on its hat says ‘tes’ (that’s how my name is spelled in Dutch.) Did the creator had me in mind while he was molding this?
Nah….TES is an electronic company in Holland.

Winter…no sign of letting up! (009)
Jan 9th
Winter in this part of Europe is showing no sign of letting up! Instead I think it’s here to stay for quite a while!
Seldom do we get a white Christmas in The Netherlands, but days before Christmas last year, it was white all over so yeah, it was nice. * No need to dream of white Christmas for most of us* BUT it’s still white outside – it’s already the 9th of January!…and temperature is extra cold! brrrrrrrr
So instead of our usual family day in the neighboring city, we’re at home staying warm…and safe. No need to take any risk of getting stuck in sticky situations in this temperature.
