use your money wisely
Feb 12th
How are you, how are things going for you this year? Had a bad year perhaps? Well don’ t lose hope. As the saying goes: life isn’ t a bed of roses, if you want to succeed, then take risks. That means not only financially but don’t let opportunities, both small and grand pass you by.
Here’s a challenge and good tip for you. If you have money stashed away then perhaps you would want to invest instead? Why not invest on something that has been around forever? What I am talking about? Gold. Why not buy gold bullion, invest on them?! Did you know that many investors place their bets on gold because gold seldom lose its value? Gold means money.
Gold is rare, durable and does not wear out in the manner of lesser metals -or paper (bills) when passed from one person to another. A small amount, easily carried, can purchase a significant amount of goods and services.
So why not invest in gold.
Brown sugar and good doctor (042)

I was feeling a bit low but at the same time relieved after my visit to the doctor.
My back’s hurting again that I was losing sleep. Unlike when the past ‘ back attack’ I thought I can just wait for this one to be over, but no, I was mistaken. So together with my husband we headed out to our family doctor. Fortunately she was on duty but a new Chinese doctor was. Yeah I was glad it was him because to be honest, I do not approve of our family doctor’s way of dealing with patients. It’s like, you aren’t even done telling her your problems yet and she’s already writing Rx, anxious to show you to the door so that she can usher the next patient as fast as she could…but to be fair, she’ s not the only dutch doctor that does that.) This Chinese doctor took time to examine my back by actually feeling where the pain was ..and found out that my back is slightly crooked, misaligned. And has told me some other possibilities too that could be causing my pain. I was so glad with the short talk I had with him, and appreciated his explanations. (* We need more good ASIAN doctors in Holland, please!)
To make a long story short, I was given a strong painkiller (plus Rx so that my stomach lining is protected, I’ve a weak stomach for meds).
Anyhow I needed a bit spirit uplifting from this pain, so finding these stock of flower photos I took a couple of years ago did the trick. I guess the coming uploads will be flowers. To perk me up! And I hope you too, who sees them.
Iyo ba ito? (LP 92)
Feb 10th
Kaninong maleta ito? IYO ba?
Happy LP day, everyone!

I was really really surprised at the quality of this mobilephone. Taken using my Nokia 5800 Xpresmusic (which I thought it was only good for playing mp3s, boy I was wrong!) While waiting for my husband to finish off his smoke I thought I’d take more photos of the colosseum. Tired of the big ones that I was carrying and using the whole day, I took out my mobilephone and snapped a few. This was one of them.
Photo was not edited at all. I only placed a watermark, that’s all.
puggy love (038)
Feb 7th
I sometimes wish we have a second pug, a female this time. It would be nice to have little Charlies (or Charlottes) running around the house. I’m pretty sure Charlie will be a good, loving and caring dad.
BUT we can’t afford a second dog. Let alone a litter. Because dog owners in Holland pay dog tax of almost €100.00/year. Can you imagine that? Vet trips, food, dog snack, toys..whew, it’s like having a child!
Thus Charlie, still is the most sought bachelor in the hood.
