kaBULA-ang katotohanan (LP 99)

SPUME o mistulang bula sa pampang ng dagat, ito ang nakita namin. Unang beses kong makakita ng ganitong kakapal na bula kaya medyo natakot akong lapitan ito, maging ang aso kong si Charlie ay parang nandidiri kapag napapalapit sya ng takbo sa bula. Sadyang kapag hindi natin alam ang katotohanan ukol sa isang bagay ay madali tayong matakot, hindi ba?
Ang katotohanan tungkol sa bulang ito:
The spume is made from protein and fat molecules created by the breakdown of microscopic sea creatures. These animals, known as phaeocystis, form large colonies in the water which are held together by a gelatinous mass. The foam is formed when the wind sweeps up the decaying remains of these colonies and deposits it on the shore. Pollution is also said to affect the sea foam where too many nutrients in the water cause large colonies of phaeocystis to form.

One of the ´regulars´ in the hood….this ghost, I mean dog was probably so happy because it was dry outside…it was running like mad when I saw it! Cute fellah.

Aren’t weeping willows beautiful?
One of the many weeping willows in our area. One of Charlie’s favorite trees to ‘mark’ as his.
Right now this tree looks ‘old’, like an aging person losing his hair.
I can’t wait for the leaves to grow! I think I will take photo of this tree every 2 weeks to document the ‘hair’ growth…that would be fun.

rise temperature…rise!

Look at that distorted face of Charlie! Pugs have generally (already) distorted faces and using fisheye lens on them makes it crazy!
I always have fun using Charlie as subject when my fisheye lens is mounted on my camera. I like capturing those big eyes, and yes even that distorted face. Fisheye lens is always fun to use especially on people and animals. Come to think of it, my pug needs a bath seriously! Well the weather is getting better, temperature is rising so he’ll soon get one.
This photo was taken yesterday after we took a walk. The weather was so nice! Unlike what we’re having today…the temperature has slightly risen and it’s raining outside too. Even Charlie didn’t want to stay outside because of the rain. He hates it when he gets wet.
I just can’t wait for the temperature to rise! I miss sunbathing in our backyard. I miss barbeque-ing outside. I just miss the sun, period. Though I wouldn’t mind NOT seeing ants and wasps they just give me the creeps, argh!
But it doesn’t matter, I can take that as long as I can enjoy the sun and do all things that I can only do when it’s shining

There are people who enjoy looking at animals in the wild. Birds flying freely is such a wonderful sight to see. But there are many of us who enjoy animals in our homes. Some consider animals as members of their family. Could be dogs, cats, chincillas, ferrets, rabbits, even birds. We give them home that they deserve. Dogs and cats share our homes, literally. While smaller animals need cages to feel safe.

Earlier I joined my husband and Charlie on their ‘before lunch walk’. “I’m going to smoke a cigar so don’t go scold me because it stinks” my husband said. “I know and I wont scold you don’t worry. I’m just going to take some photos while you and Charlie do whatever you need to do” I replied.
Skies are of gray and blue combination with patches of white clouds, temperature is high enough that it’s actually nice to walk outside jacket free!
I guess I’m just happy because it’s springtime…. that it shows on my chosen (exaggerated) colors .
It’s SPRINGTIME, weeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Itong plastic na ito ang naglalagay sa panganib sa mga shopaholics! Well actually, choice naman ng shopper na ‘malunod’ sya sa utang dahil kung hindi nya i-swipe ang plastic na ito ay wala itong silbe, di ba?
Takot ako gamitin ito, sa totoo lang. Ayaw ko kasi ng may utang. Ayaw ko ng may iniintindi. Kaya naman sa edad kong ito, nasanay na ako na kung walang pera, pasensha. Kumuha lang kaming mag-asawa ng plastic na ito dahil kapag bakasyon ay mas safe na bitbit ito. Alam nyo ba kung saan namin madalas gamitin ito? Sa mga parking meters dito dahil ito ang hinihingi na gamitin. Kaya naman naloloka na siguro sa amin ang VISA dahil end of the month na bill ay wala pang €20
