Ang tunay na pagkakaibigan ay walang kinikilalang sagabal. Ano mang uri ka ng nilala kung ang puso mo ay makatuwiran, totoo, mapagmahal, mapag-alaga at makatotohanan, tiyak na labi mo ay palagiang may taglay na ngiti katulad ng kanya (kambing.)
Nakita ko sila noong nakaraang Sabado sa isang parke dito sa aming lugar. Nakapikit at antok na antok man ang kambing ay hindi siya humihiga at halos hindi gumagalaw dahil siguro ay ayaw nya mawala sa kanyang likod ang kaibigang manok!
Daig pa ako ng kambing na ito, sa totoo lang. Kung may ‘kaibigan’ na sumakay sa likod ko pero hindi naman siya totoo, ako na mismo maghuhulog sa kanya sa pagkakasakay sa likod ko!
Ice hockey last Saturday.

It was great watching these boys last weekend.
It was my first time to see (or watch) ice hockey and I quite enjoyed it. What made it more fun to watch was the fact that it was just a few meters away from our house! Yes, these boys were playing on what usually was a small pond that I usually walked past by. The late cold front from Siberia frozed it up for people to enjoy.
Fun, isn’t it?!
We’re all in this together.

One heartwarming scene I saw yesterday during my walk. I do not know the sweet lady but I gave her my card and told her this photo will be posted here. This was a quick shot, no room for me to compose, I just hope she likes it.

Finally we got our first snow today!
It wasn’t just me who waited for it I know (my reason was for photo op), so I wasn’t at all surprised when I saw kids enjoying the fresh snow outside! Some were pulling sleighs and some were checking the frozen waters if they were safe enough for them to skate on. And yes waters are frozen thick, just waiting to be used! I’ll surely come back tomorrow armed with camera again, hopefully I’d be able to capture great moments.
I do not know who these 3 cute angels are but I asked the two bigger girls for their permission if I can take their photos. They were smart enough to ask what it is for and how their photos will be used (I’m proud of you girls!) so I told them about my photoblog, gave them the link. I said I will not publish it without their permission. But yey! I got it so what do you think, aren’t they all cute?!
I hope to see them again if not tomorrow, the coming days…in case they’re not able to remember my URL, I will surely bring my card to hand over.

The yearly visitors are back! I mean birds, HUNGRY birds, not ANGRY :P
Every winter my husband buys birdfeeds for these beautiful creatures. Some are migratory, some are local Elvises who aren’t leaving the premise because of the free chow. Premise means our little backyard. My husband hangs the feeds on our pear tree.
As I am not a bird watcher nor like those professionals with loooooooong telescopic lenses, hence the cropped image ha ha! Actually I take photos from inside our home, behind a window where I make myself as small as possible (like that’s ever going to happen at my weight and size he he) so these birds can quietly enjoy the feeds and not be scared of the lady with that strange circular thing on her face that is always pointed at them.
But these darn cuties move so quickly most of the time they’re long been gone before I could press the shutter or I am way too slow.. but I prefer to think the first one I mentioned.

Esposo: Wala ka ba’ng maisip?
Ako: Wala eh! Magsunog kaya ako ng kapirasong papel? Oo tama, magkukulay abo nga yun!
Esposo: Palagay ko ay hindi.
Ako: *Napatingin sa esposo sabay ismid* Syempre magkukulay abo yung papel kapag nasunod ano!
Ako: nagsusunog ng kapirasong papel sa ashtray.
Ako: -_-

Lensbaby on Charlie

Oh yes baby! After almost 3 years (I think) of not using my Lensbaby, I finally actually used it today! But not my eyeglasses while using it and oh man, it really strained my eyes that I feel a bit crossed-eyed now (looks like it too) 
Charlie of course, is always my available model to use it on. Look at that face? Those eyes can actually stop ladies of all ages on their track just to pet him. Ask my husband, they walk together more often than usual, ha ha ha!
Pagmamahal = LOVE (LP 186)

Simula sa aking pagkabata ay napaligiran na ako ng mga hayop. Mga manok, ilang kuneho, ang mga pugo (quails) ng aking lola, baboy, aking mga pusa, at mga aso. Kaya naman ako , aking mga kapatid at pamilya ay sanay na may alagang hayop sa paligid namin.
Subalit noon ay ‘laruan’ lamang sila para sa akin. Lalo na kapag bata pa sila, ‘cute’ kasi. Hindi ko alam kung paano na sila ay alagaan.
Hangang sa dumating sa buhay ko si Charlie, pitong taon na ang nakakaraan. Si Charlie ang nagturo sa akin ng tunay na kahulugan ng pagmamahal na mayroon sa pagitan ng tao at hayop. Dahil sa ako ay sa bahay lamang nagtatrabaho, halos lagi ko siyang kasama. Kilalang-kilala nya ako at ako naman ay kilalang-kilala sya! At ang pinakamaganda sa lahat ay ang pagmamahal namin sa isa’t isa. Alam kong mahal na mahal ko si Charlie dahil lahat ay gagawin ko para sa kanya, Pero palagay ko ay mas higit ang pagmamahal nya sa akin, sa aming mag-asawa. Kung may alaga kang aso ay maiintindihan mo ang ibig kong sabihin
Dito sa unang larawan, ang aking ‘anak’ ay 6 taong gulang lamang, kuha ito nang nakaraang taon. Nagsimulang maging ‘uban’ ang kanyang buhok nang sya ay tumuntong sa edad na isa. Oo, isa. Ang aga ano? Mana sa akin, ubanin
Itong pangalawang larawan ay kanina lamang kami nag ‘photoshoot’ na mag-ina. Si Charlie, 7.5 taong gulang.
