I promised a dear friend that I would feature here shots I made (and he also made, though they are yet to be featured in the near future) of his small houses collection. I shot quite a lot during the 2nd Christmas day last December when we had dinner at their house, for now I chose these 2 shots first.

at “The Post Office”

the scene is in the left building.

Aren’t they cute? They are actually fun to look at especially this collection, a whole lot of them.. they are better viewed when lights are out and only the small houses lights are on.

When I was young I really really liked watching all those karate films. Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan were among my favorites. All my sisters and brother were also hooked on karate film. When I started junior high, I wanted to enroll to a self defense class but never really get around to doing it. I wish I had because in this world we live in, it’s important to be equipped with something that can save your life when time arises.

Capt. Chris Pizzo an accomplished martial artist (5 black belts) is just the person who can teach you self defense, your life. A former military man who was struck with cancer but found his way back to life and now teaches Close Combat Training. He is also a World Leader In Self Defense. Exactly the person I would contact if only I live within the area where he is teaching. But even that is not a problem as he offers videos, which will be sent upon request.

Captain Chris’ Close Combat proves to be effective as many of his students attested. I can go on and on about self defense but why not find out more about it by just clicking the links and also do not forget to know The Truth About Martial Arts.

Charice Pempengco, Amazing child!

I can’t help but be amazed at this 14-year old Filipina, Charize Pampengco…she’s got this unbelievable voice. Such volume for a child! I only can laugh at the reaction of the Koreans watching her performing during a television contest. Makes me oh sooo proud of being a Filipina!

I have showed this video to some of my ducth friends and they all had the same reaction: “This isn’t true, that video was doctored because no child can ever sound like that!” *LMAO!* That’s Filipino talent to you, folks!
*note: thanks Jeff for lending my this video! By the way, this song was originally sung by Jennifer Holiday:

And I am telling you
I’m not going.
You’re the best man I’ll ever know.
There’s no way I can ever go,
No, no, no, no way,
No, no, no, no way I’m livin’ without you.
I’m not livin’ without you.
I don’t want to be free.
I’m stayin’,
I’m stayin’,
And you, and you, you’re gonna love me.
Ooh, you’re gonna love me.

And I am telling you
I’m not going,
Even though the rough times are showing.
There’s just no way,
There’s no way.
We’re part of the same place.
We’re part of the same time.
We both share the same blood.
We both have the same mind.
And time and time we have so much to share,

No, no, no,
No, no, no,
I’m not wakin’ up tomorrow mornin’
And findin’ that there’s nobody there.
Darling, there’s no way,
No, no, no, no way I’m livin’ without you.
I’m not livin’ without you.
You see, there’s just no way,
There’s no way.

Tear down the mountains,
Yell, scream and shout.
You can say what you want,
I’m not walkin’ out.
Stop all the rivers,
Push, strike, and kill.
I’m not gonna leave you,
There’s no way I will.

And I am telling you
I’m not going.
You’re the best man I’ll ever know.
There’s no way I can ever, ever go,
No, no, no, no way,
No, no, no, no way I’m livin’ without you.
Oh, I’m not livin’ without you,
I’m not livin’ without you.
I don’t wanna be free.
I’m stayin’,
I’m stayin’,
And you, and you,
You’re gonna love me.
Oh, hey, you’re gonna love me,
Yes, ah, ooh, ooh, love me,
Ooh, ooh, ooh, love me,
Love me,
Love me,
Love me,
Love me.
You’re gonna love me.

Cows can climb!

Is this proof enough? *wink*

I always love seeing arts displayed in public to admire. I applaud those artists for coming up with idea as such! Of course I must admit that I admire them most for being able to sell (ideas) to any city …I heard most of them are paid big time.

How I wish I have such talent to come up with any ideas for public display…it aint bad to earn a living!
