Angel of Mine | Weekend Snapshot #10
Dec 17th
Angel glass ornament, one of the 3 designs I bought 2 weeks ago.
My very own angel.

When I have no one to turn to
And I am feeling kind of low,
When there is no one to talk to
And nowhere I want to go,
I search deep within myself
It is the love inside my heart
That lets me know my Angels are there
Even though we are miles apart.
A smile then appears upon my face
And the sun begins to shine.
I hear a voice, so soft and sweet
Saying, ‘Everything will be just fine’
It may seem that I am alone
But I am never by myself at all.
Whenever I need my Angels near
All I have to do is call.
An Angel’s love is always true
On that you can depend.
They will always stand behind you
And will always be your friend.
Through darkest hours and brightest days
Our Angel’s see us through
They smile when we are happy, and will cry when we are blue..
Thanks for being my Angel my friend
I will be there for you until the end.

One Little Candle | Weekend Snapshot #9
Dec 10th
I was having dinner with some friends and I got focused on this candle standing in the middle of our dining table. Though this was taken during a weekday, the thought came to me just last night. I don’t need to explain much, but I have found the video that is appropriate for this. It was taught to us back in the middle school for a Christmas Cantata which we won. I would like to share it with you.
Just One Little Candle
It is better to light just one little candle,
Than to stumble in the dark!
Better far that you light just one little candle,
All you need’s a tiny spark!
If we’d all say a prayer that the world would be free,
The wonderful dawn of a new day we’ll see!
And, if everyone lit just one little candle,
What a bright world this would be!
Let’s all light one little candle,
Why stumble on in the dark?
When the day is dark an’ dreary,
And your way is hard to find,
Don’t let your heart be weary,
Just keep this thought in mind!
What a bright world
this would be!

"Swollen" | Weekend Snapshot #8
Dec 3rd
My ex colleague in Thailand gave me this sunglasses as a souvenir last October. I was with her in Thailand when she bought this for me.
I find the brand ‘Maga’ a bit funny because in my language (Tagalog, Filipino language) it means swollen or swelling . How ironic that they gave it such brand name…
Marketing line:
MAGA : ‘For people with swollen eyes or eye bags’ *lol*

"Time is Gold" | Weekend Snapshot # 7
Nov 25th
It was in 2005 when I attended an EB of bloggers living in Europe. The EB was held in Germany.
My husband was even invited (even my doggy) and there Cherry provided us accommodation for two days since it was also her first born’s birthday thus making it a dual celebration. There were 8 bloggers who attended that weekend of fun and just like how we Filipinos are toward new friends, we brought with us gifts to give each other.
From one nice lady, Jing, this is what she gave me. A cute golden kettle with clock.

"Happy"
Nov 18th
I hope I am not offending anybody with this shot. My weekend snapshot entry #7

Happy The Man by John Dryden
Happy the man, and happy he alone,
He who can call today his own:
He who, secure within, can say,
Tomorrow do thy worst, for I have lived today.
Be fair or foul or rain or shine
The joys I have possessed, in spite of fate, are mine.
Not Heaven itself upon the past has power,
But what has been, has been, and I have had my hour.
