Scientists and other experts say that there are still so many living organisms & creatures out there, especially deep in the ocean that we haven’t seen, all pretty much unknown to men. Each time when I watch Discovery Channel Europe -their programs never cease to amaze me. Some people say that television only brings violence and bad news…well I have to make an exemption for this wonderful program.
BUT it isn’t only in the deep water that we find ‘unknown’ creatures.
I found one in our backyard. Unknown, well at least to me, as I’ve never seen a purple colored caterpillar (or is it?) before.

I promised a dear friend that I would feature here shots I made (and he also made, though they are yet to be featured in the near future) of his small houses collection. I shot quite a lot during the 2nd Christmas day last December when we had dinner at their house, for now I chose these 2 shots first.

Aren’t they cute? They are actually fun to look at especially this collection, a whole lot of them.. they are better viewed when lights are out and only the small houses lights are on.

I still am a kid at heart. I still love to play these days even if it’s limited to hand movements only (playstation.) Though I still love the outdoor activities, I’m afraid I can no longer do some of them like..
I can still remember the hours at school (many years ago) with my classmates during breaks, we would take out our jumping ropes or garters and we’d group in twos to play against each other. I was so active as a child, loved to compete, and I loved winning!
Ah, jumping rope during that time was one of my favorites. Unlike now, physical activities are limited if a kid (or adult) wants to play, to only fingers movements because of those gadgets.
What a big difference, isn’t it?
I had a bit of time (well, taking a pause from work) when I suddenly just grabbed my camera, some ‘little people’ and start taking photos of ‘them’ . Them are actually miniatures display for train set which I bought last year but only used today. You see my husband has this collection of trains and I bought some displays for him. But he isn’t using the miniatures yet so I made them my macro models.
How small were they? I’ll be posting next time another sample from the set.
This is my favorite couple. the bench they were seating on is separate and sitting them on top of it took me few minutes because they’re so light and unsteady. but it’s worth it, I enjoyed playing with them.
