Almost all bloggers that I know whether writing sponsored entries or not, have been penalized by Google Page Rank system. Just like this blog of mine. From having 3 Page Rank, it was slashed down to well, zero. Nada. Am I happy about it? No. Were the other bloggers happy about them losing theirs? Certainly not, if not pretty all of them were upset about that move. Almost all bloggers are relying on their Google page rank since that’s what most advertisers use as basis for choosing blogs that will endorse their products. No page rank, meant less and sometimes no advertisers being interested to give a blogger the chance to endorse a product.
Fortunately IzeaRanks.Com came up with a solution that now helps bloggers to again enjoy sponsored entries because it proves that bloggers like myself do not have to rely on Google’s page rank just to be able to get some good, better paid opportunities (ads) to write. Real Blog Ranks now show with IzeaRanks system that uses a piece of javascript to collect and report a rank based on actual traffic. The system shows chart of pageviews, unique visitors, or the blog’s real rank.
I find this system rather better than Google because it focuses exclusively on measuring the traffic and influence of individual blogs throughout the blogosphere. RealRank is making sure to replace unreliable influence indicators such as Google PageRank or Alexa by providing more accurate statistical data collected directly from the source.
Now, the future looks promising for bloggers again because of this.
