Nakasanayan ko ng hindi maglagay ng mga larawan ng pamilya ko sa mga blogs ko dahil gusto ko manatili kaming pribado kaya’t humingi ako ng permiso sa aking matalik na kaibigan upang ang kanyang larawan ang aking gamitin sa temang ito imbes na ang aking ina.
Si Christa, isang butihing ina at matalik kong kaibigan.

Maikling kwento kung paano kami nagkakilala ni Christa… taong 2002 sa gym na kung saan ay pareho kaming miembro. Pareho kaming medyo fanatic sa pag eehersisyo (sya ay fanatic pa rin, ako ay dakilang Juana Tamad na!) at inaabot kami ng halos pagsaraduhan na ng gym dahil kami na lang ang natitira na gumagamit nito. Minsan ay kami pa mismo nagsasara nito. Minsan nuong kaming dalawa na lang ay bigla akong bumirit ng kanta (may kakapalan ako minsan talaga) at sumali naman sya (mahiyain sya pero pag may prumotor, game sya!) Hanggang magkaalaman kami na pareho pala kaming mahilig sa musika- ako na dating mangaawit (hindi po sa ilalim ng Quiapo kundi sa ibabaw ng tulay ha ha! ) at sya naman ay kasalukuyang umaawit sa kanyang Christian choir. Nagkasundo agad kami at sa katotohanan ay nahikayat nya akong mag audition sa kanyang choir (dahil isa din akong Christian) at agad namang natanggap. Pinagbuklod sa pamamagitan ng awit at aming paniniwala, yun ang simula.
Sa mga lumipas na panahon lalong lumalim ang aming pagkakaibigan, hindi lang kami kundi ang aking asawa na rin at buo nyang pamilya ay naging magkakaibigan. Nagsimula kong malaman kung gaano ang kanyang dedikasyon sa kanyang pamilya, sa kanyang asawa at dalawang anak at sa Diyos. Lahat ng kanyang makakaya, ibinibigay nya. Sya ang klase ng ina hindi nagtataas ng boses kahit galit na bagkus ay laging humihingi ng wisdom sa Panginoon, sa lahat ng oras. Maaring Christian din ako pero hindi ko magawa ang ginagawa nya, buong pagtitiwala at walang halong pangamba talaga. Kaya naman sya din ang aking lakas. Kung alam nyo lang kung paano ako saluhin ng kaibigan ko na ito, daig pa sa tunay na kapatid at minsan ay parang ina ko na rin sya.
Hindi madaling magkaroon ng mga teenagers na anak. Minsan ako pa nagagalit para sa kanya at nasasabi ko din sa kanya na kung ako siguro ay matagal ng nakatikim ang dapat makatikim ng galit. Pero sya, cool na cool! Grabe sa apaw sa pagmamahal talaga at pang-unawa hindi lang para sa pamilya kundi sa lahat ng tao sa paligid nya. Minsan nga ay nagbibiruan kami kung paano kaming nag- click na dalawa dahil ako naman ay kabaligtaran nya. Ganun daw talaga, pinupunan namin ang isa’t-isa.

Christa has teenage children?! I must say she looks very young. All that gym and the very good disposition in life has paid off.
By the way, you are so blessed to have her as a friend. Sometimes it pays to show off you singing skills because you end up finding good friends. Unfortunately, in my case, I might find more enemies… hehehe!
