Evening Guide, my share for this week’s Photohunt, Bright theme. Taken seconds apart, back in April 2008 when one night I looked up and saw the moon almost in its full grandeur. Shot with Point & Shoot Canon S5 IS + conversion lens adapter + teleconverter lens.
zoomed out

mid zoom

not yet the max zoom, couldn’t risk getting too noisey.

All hand held, no cropping.

Count me among those impressed and amazed. I didn’t realize point and shoots could take on teleconverters. What focal length would you say your last shot was taken at? I’d love to get a shot like that!

THESS: Hi JUne, I wasn’t so sure but probably 68mm of the 12 max zoom of this canon S5 IS, but don’t forget that I used a teleconverter lens.

What a wonderful series of photos! I try to take photos of the moon, but mine don’t turn out so well as these. What time of day did you take them?
Fantastic shots!
