Well hello there SPRING! (080)
Mar 22nd
Spring at last you’re here! I almost ran out of patience because I’ve waited and waited and waited for months for your annual visit. Now that you’re here I can’t help but feel you, smell you, and start to enjoy you.
I am looking forward to the colors that you bring. Why not stay the whole year instead, eh?

*old photo of Gizmo taken in 2007*
This was Gizmo. He was the youngest of all our 3 ferrets. Sadly all 3 of them are now in animal heaven where there is no pain, no worries nor sorrow.
He was never sick during his lifetime. He did not experience the pain of Danielle – the female ferret that died at 6 years old due to cancer, nor Jacob’s, that died at 8 years old, due to a condition. He was playful, smart and funny…and the fattest amongst the 3.
Back in the early 2008, I still remember that dreadful morning when I found him almost lifeless. I was already expecting that day because I was already noticing changes days before. We took him to the animal hospital where we were told that he’s no longer there but what we’re seeing was muscle contraction. His heartbeat was very very weak. The vet offered to put him to sleep immediately. It was the humane thing to do.
It was my 3rd time to witness my pet being euthanized. It wasn’t easy. First needle was given to put them into deep sleep, for them not to feel the 2nd needle. The 2nd needle was always the most painful to witness because it’s brought straight to the heart. It felt like my heart was also punctured 3 times. But like a real ‘mommy’ I had to see that everything was done properly, no matter how difficult it was.
He was cremated and his remain was scattered on a field.
To this day, my husband and I still talk about our 3 ferrets. We still miss their company from time to time.
my housemates (062 & 063)
Mar 5th
I was not able to upload my photo-of- the- day yesterday (project 365) thus I uploaded 2 today. Featuring my housemates.
Gray-bearded-almost-6-years-old Charlie. The family Prince. And I mean that. What he wants, he gets! Well, from my husband who really reeeeeeeaaallly spoils Charlie. Did you know at night I am not allowed to sit on the couch beside my husband? because that’s Charlie’s spot. For the past almost 6 years!
And no, I ‘m not complaining….that much. Lol!

My Tuesday started off good. I did my yoga, boxing and steps, went to school…had a good talk with my coach, went home positive.
But now I’m a bit cranky! Just like this guy. Not because I sit on a q-tip but…well….circumstances
this shall pass…

Guhit ng palad (LP 88 Manipis)
Jan 13th
Can you read someone’s future by looking at his palm? Do you believe in this?
If you were to ask me, my answer to both would be NO. Because I believe that only God knows our future. No fortune-teller nor magician can tell. Pure luck, you say? Maybe. Could be. Nothing is impossible. But I…
have lifted up all to Him. he is my Creator.
It’s hard out there (011)
Jan 11th
These ducks rely solely on people who care enough to bring them stale bread. It’s been snowing for more than 3 weeks now and the birds are having a hard time. Hungry hungry hungry!
Which reminds me, tomorrow I should buy loaves of bread for them. I ran out of stale bread. They’re just too many of them to feed! I hope this winter let up, soon.

Green (007)
Jan 7th

Outside it’s cold, slippery, ground is white- sky is gray, wet, and did I say it’s cold already? I have just about enough of this bone chilling winter we’re having right now. My body isn’t really built for this temperature. Thick jackets help. But it isn’t fun walking like the Michelin man around, buh!
Almost all trees are of course bald now, I miss the greens……
