kaBULA-ang katotohanan (LP 99)
Mar 31st
The spume is made from protein and fat molecules created by the breakdown of microscopic sea creatures. These animals, known as phaeocystis, form large colonies in the water which are held together by a gelatinous mass. The foam is formed when the wind sweeps up the decaying remains of these colonies and deposits it on the shore. Pollution is also said to affect the sea foam where too many nutrients in the water cause large colonies of phaeocystis to form.
Ayan, may natutunan na naman akong bago. Salamat google

More >
Give me my ball!! (068)

**how come Sjimmie is standing straight but the water seems like tilting to the left…. because the world is round?**
This is Sjimmie. The relentless bouvier of our friends Joke and George.
Sjimmie wont stop barking when he’s on the beach. He would bark, bark, bark, and bark more..pleading to give him his ball. But he can bark until he drops..he can’t have his ball.
Bad hips. That’s what he’s got. So no running is advisable for him. Have had hips operation already, if he hurts himself again, operation might not be an option anymore.
Sorry Sjimmie. That’s said with L O V E.
beach find (067)

I saw these poles from a distance while walking on this deserted beach last weekend. I knew that I just have to photograph them, so I suggested to my husband for us to walk towards them.
The poles were not as tall as I hoped for nor many in number either. Also two were buried too high in the sand that the picture I had in mind didn’t came out the way I was hoping for.
I like the color contrast though.
Charlie was on a short vacation (064-066)
Mar 8th
We were back from our weekend getaway..or I should say, Charlie’s vacation because we chose this hotel where dogs are allowed as guests. It was in the Southern part of Holland and walking distance from the sea (Northsea.) Before heading back home (and after a heavy breakfast) we decided to walk a few kilometres..eventhough the cold wind was unforgiving..brrrr
I asked my husband (who doesn’t like holding a camera..my exact opposite, bleh! ) to please take some photos of me with Charlie..
64/365: ‘No baby don’t look at me, look at the camera’
65/365: ‘good now you’re looking..hey wait! dad’s shadow is showing..keep looking’
66/365: ‘oh great, now you’re no longer looking…oh well…let’s go home’
